DIMENSIONS
THE TABLE DEPTH DIMENSION VARIES FROM 69.5 to 73 cm due to the nature of the wood.
MOISTURE CONTENT
THE TARGET FOR BEST QUALITY IS BELOW 12%. Some peak up to 14% could be accepted.

DEFECTS
Poor attention to detail by workers
The webbing used on all items is not placed properly and could easily have a better aesthetic with more attention to detail.
Sanding
The finishing process is also lacking of workers' attention. The factory says sanding all items with a 240 grit while we believe the result is more due to a 150 grit. On the lower part and between branches, some parts are still raw and glue can still be found.
Termites
Some components contain termites. The factory said that all items have been treated against pest using DTM chemical. Even if true, the premises is filled with wood (new, rotten, saw dust...) which gives termites the best opportunity to expand.
Saw Marks
Some components used show saw marks and should be spared.
Branch Thickness
The branches thickness used on the Bar table top is not the same as used at the exhibition, and therefore agreed on by Asean Sourcing. All tables top should use 4cm +/- branch diameter. The one use on the sample here should be used for seaters.

Non Matching Dimensions
The higher part of the base structure is actually longer than the table top support which is 70 cm. In result, the base, is wider than the top. This is an easy fix and is due to poor attention of workers.
Legs
Seating on glass, we can see that the leg base is not cut straight. 2 out of 4 legs on the checked item are concerned.

Wrong engineering
The back rest design is wrong and therefore, uncomfortable. The lower slat should be pushed back and rounded.

The seat is also uncomfortable. Having the branches cut flat could be more comfortable.
Poor Finishing
Intensive use of wood filler result in unaesthetic finish. Wood filler should be tainted for a better match then the component should be sanded to remove any excess.
Folding Hardware
For the chair, but also all other items, the hardware used is galvanized screw. This is not suitable for repetitive folding process and should be replaced by adapted hardware.
